An immersive puzzler disguised as a shooter with a driving soundtrack!
Futuridium EP originally appeared on Desura and immediately made people sit up and take notice of this retro-inspired shmup. Zipping along in a 3D polygon world while destroying targets straight out of an 80s arcade game…it was wonderful. It found success on the App Store as well, and the fanbase encouraged MixedBag to take their shooter to the next level. Now, we’re happy to unveil the upgrade that is Futuridium EP Deluxe.
SO WHAT MAKES IT DELUXE?
Compared to the original EP, Deluxe is a whole new experience, with fresh new mechanics, boss levels, bonus stages and an expanded soundtrack. If you’ve had a chance to see Futuridium’s Playstation release on PS4 and Vita, you’ll be experiencing that level of upgrade in this PC/Mac/Linux port. With 50 different levels for the main campaign (complete with five boss fights), this is a musical beast of a completely different color.
Best of all, fans of the original Futuridium EP won’t be left toggling between Steam and Desura! The classic version is an unlockable bonus within the game. How do you access it? That’s a secret you’ll have to find out for yourself.
Futuridium is available this Friday, January 8th, simultaneously on Playism and on Steam. Buying from Playism will net you both the DRM-free copy as well as a Steam key, which gives you access to all those wonderful Steam goodies (Steam cloud, achievements, leaderboard). Also, we’ll be launching at a 20% discount: only $7.99 for the first week! This sale will run until January 15th, so climb aboard and get ready to groove through the cosmos!
