BitSummit approaches.
The fifth BitSummit, the indie-focused game event held in Kyoto, is nearly upon us. Playism is getting ready to turn up again with a whole array of interesting titles for all attendees.
But before we start announcing all the companies/developers, let’s talk about this year’s BitSummit.
If you want to check out our previous blog posts on BitSummit you can check them all out here.
This year BitSummit has moved up to May 20–21 and has recently announced this year’s name and theme!
A 5th of BitSummit
This year we Atsushi Inaba from Platinum Games delivering the keynote with Nintendo and Twitch both serving as the event’s main sponsors. Even with such powerful names already in the mix, BitSummit has a lot more to offer.
Koji Igarashi (Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night), Masaya Matsuura (PaRappa the Rapper) and SUDA51 (No More Heroes, The Silver Case) will all be attending, each with their own special piece of news to share.
And lastly, it wouldn’t be a BitSummit event without Professor Sakamoto – the 8-bit music DJ who performs while wearing a Famicom on his head. Professor Sakamoto will be taking to the stage again and acting as the event’s musician.
