Playism Busts A Groove With Band Saga!

The Word Is Out, And The Word Is Good.

If you’ve kept your ear to the ground regarding great games that’ve cropped up through crowdfunding, you’ve definitely heard of Rekcahdam’s Band Saga , the incredibly ambitious rhythm/action/roguelike game. The very concept that sits at the core – generating music through defeating enemies in randomly generated levels, culminating in a completed song – is mind boggling and nothing short of surreal to see in action. The scope of it really speaks to what the game hopes to accomplish, as players will have a chance to create their own songs, which, in turn, will create their own worlds. If you’re a fan of music, it’s a crazy journey. If you’re more of a fan of roguelike sci-fi games, it’s ridiculously satisfying.

And if you’re a fan of Playism working with dope indie devs to make sure awesome games come to everyone, then you’re gonna love what’s happening here.

As announced earlier on their Kickstarter page, we are publishing Band Saga! This is such an exciting title to be behind: from the art to the music, Band Saga appeals to every one of my senses (especially taste). I’ve been a huge fan of the soundtrack for a while now, and I can’t wait to see the levels that come in tandem with these serious beats.Where does this leave you, the fan who’s ready for some Band Saga action? Well, if you can’t wait another section, you can still become a Slacker Backer via Paypal directly from Rekchadam’s page . The chance to be a beta supporter still exists and you can get an early copy of the game ASAP. If you’ve already pledged, don’t worry: this changes nothing for you and you’re all set. And if you just are chomping at the bit for Playism to hurry up and make this available, know that we’re doing everything we can to bring delicious DRM-free musical magic to Playism at the earliest possible chance!

In the meantime, do what we all do! Bump along to the soundtrack , do your best to relax and rejoice: Band Saga is coming soon!
